The petition

We, the undersigned residents of Quebec, call on the Government of Quebec to unlock plug-in balcony solar.

We ask the province to permit certified plug-and-play solar and clear the paperwork that blocks it today.

  • Permit certified plug-and-play solar systems up to 1200W on a standard 120V outlet, with no permit and no electrician required
  • Recognize CSA-certified equipment with built-in anti-islanding shutoff
  • Provide a simplified interconnection pathway for on-site use, the same way other small generators are handled

Plug-in solar is safe, it lowers household bills, and it is already normal across Europe. Quebec can unlock it without new legislation.
