A parent orders a plug-in solar kit on a phone. A big flat box lands at an apartment door and two children light up. They unbox a solar panel taller than they are. The parent hangs the panels on the balcony railing and plugs the cable into a wall outlet. A child points up as the sun comes out, and a dial labelled from the grid drops low. Through the seasons, maple leaves blow past, snow slides off the panels, a robin lands on the railing and Canada geese fly over. The film ends with the words: Plug in. Point up. Power on.
