Canada's plug-in solar safety standard moves into development

UL Standards & Engagement posted a notice of intent with the Standards Council of Canada for ANSI/CAN/UL 3700, a joint Canada-U.S. standard for plug-in solar equipment. Public comment on the notice closed February 17, 2026.
