Where the photos on this site come from

Every photograph displayed on Plug-In Solar for Canada is sourced from Wikimedia Commons under a Creative Commons or public-domain licence. Authors and licences are listed below. The original file page on Wikimedia Commons is the canonical source — follow the author link for full author bio, alternative resolutions, and the license deed for redistribution terms.

For media republication: most images here are CC BY 4.0 or CC BY-SA. Both permit reuse with attribution; CC BY-SA additionally requires that derivative works be shared under the same licence. If you are unsure, follow the licence link on the specific image and check directly with the photographer.

Product photos

Product photographs in our directory of plug-in solar systems (EcoFlow, Anker, Plugged Solar, Hoymiles, APsystems) are sourced from each manufacturer's public product page and used for editorial review of the product. They remain the property of their respective manufacturers; we do not relicence them.

Adding or updating a credit

The runtime registry is src/lib/photo-credits.ts. The human-readable mirror is public/hero/ATTRIBUTION.md. When a new photo is added, both should be updated.
